The project was conceived as a jewel box. Varying sizes of stone inserts within glass panels form the main grid of the facade. The facade is designed as the main structural system that even supports the floors as well as supporting itself to achieve cloumless spaces inside. This was done to help accomodate any change in building program for future use.

 

The mezzanine floor inside helps create a feeling of a double height space for the main ground floor.  The solid concrete core was set at the back of the building which was also the south part of the site, to make it vaastu complaint as well as get the right orientation as per the solar charts.
