We like to call this design as the ‘long house’. It is one of our projects where we would like to stay ourselves.

 

The idea is to celebrate the connection of the outside to the inside. All the day living spaces are arranged along a long openable wooden screen. When closed it is a facade, when open every single space in the house opens up to a series of courtyards each having a characted of their own. 

 

All the night spaces, the bedrooms are arranged on a deck-like structure above the linear day spaces overlooking the river that runs by the site.
